Dengue fever is a mosquito-borne viral illness, common in many tropical and subtropical regions.
Who should get it?
✔Individuals aged 4 years of age and older
✔ Individuals who have had confirmed dengue infection in the past (JVCI recommendations)
✔Individuals who are planning to travel to areas where there is a
risk of dengue infection
✔Individuals who are exposed to dengue virus through their work. E.g. laboratory staff who work with the virus.
Doses:
2 recomended within a 3 month period before travel
