Nail infections develop from barrier disruption or trauma to the skin surrounding the nail plate, which allows the entry of infecting bacterial or fungal organisms. Symptoms: ✘ingrown nails ✘pain, redness ✘pus Treatment (depends on how severe it is). ✔If no infection: (symptoms are redness and pain) 1. Warm salt-water soaks fort 10-15 mins, 2-3 times a day. 2.Wear comfortable shoes and keep the area clean and dry. 3.
